Instructions for Disabling Caching in Internet Browsers
In This Tutorial You Will Learn How to Disable Cache in Google Chrome, Mozilla Firefox, Internet Explorer and Safari.
Disabling cache in Google Chrome:
- Click the wrench icon in the upper right corner.
- Choose the "Tools" option.
- Choose the option "Developer Tools".
- Click the gear icon in the lower right corner.
- Check the "Disable cache" option under "Network".
Disabling cache in Mozilla FireFox:
- Select "Options" from the "Tools" menu or from the FireFox menu in the upper left corner.
- Click the "Advanced" gear icon in the upper right.
- Select the "Network" tab.
- Check the option "Override automatic cache management".
- Set "Limit cache to" 0 MB of Space.
Disabling cache in Internet Explorer:
- Select "Internet Options" from the "Tools" menu.
- Select the "General" tab.
- Click the "Settings" button in the "Browsing history" section.
- In the "Check for newer versions of stored pages:" section, select "Every time I visit the webpage".
- Click "OK" on that window.
- Click "OK" on the "Internet Options" windows.
Disabling cache in Safari:
- Choose "Preferences..." from the Safari menu.
- Choose "Advanced" in the upper right corner.
- Change the "Database storage" to "None".
